I was preparing some char cloth for my bushcraft trips. If you plan to make your own, don't forget to use pure cotton cloth. I baked it for cca 10minutes. Making fire using high carbon steel firestriker is not difficult. You just need some skill to make sparks between firestriker and flint. Try to catch spark into the char cloth or any other soft and dry material. In this video I used char cloth.
